Border fights / patrols

I stalk to the edge of the pale trees, then break into a run, gathering my Clan and returning to where i will allow the border to go, for i know a fight may break out.
We both have small clans, about three warriors each, but a battle is a battle

(I'm not right in your territory, i'm standing on your border.)

Cloverstar sniffed a fern. "So this is WildClan border." she scoffed, kicking some earth of some of her dirt.

I nod assertivly, ignoring the haughty and disrespectful air of the she-cat, then say, i have left you enough territory to support your Clan and a bit more beside, i gesture to the creek. This is a good landmark that runs along the border. This is our territory, from here beyond, i gesture with my tail up the slope and along.

Cloverstar nodded respectfully. "Thank-you, Lilakstar. We appreciate it very much." Cloverstar's voice suddenly became muffled. "But... It's best you leave now. Thank you anyway.." Cloverstar meant it was best for herself to leave, but she didn't care. Awkwardly Cloverstar dipped her head and ran off. She tripped and fell onto a patch of dry grass. "Oof!" she cried, standing and licking her yellow tabby fur.

I twitch my tail in surprise, but don't show any other signs of dissent. I dissmiss my warriors with a flick of my tail and watch the FlameClan leader.

Cloverstar stood. She turned round to face Lilakstar, who was trying to hide her amusement. "It's not funny!" she growled. Cloverstar was usually well-tempered, but this had made her angry. She hated picking fights, however. But this didn't stop her.

My amusemant turns to sadness and i bow my head in greif. What has happened to you, Cloverstar?, i ask, you are not the cat i knew. I turn away and start to pad into the undergrowth.

Cloverstar twitched her tail tip. She wasn't quite sure what Lilakstar meant. She hadn't changed - had she? Cloverstar shook her fur. "I have to protect my territory, and not her!" she scoffed, lashing her tail and narrowing her pale blue eyes.

I just look at the cat sadly, my wisdom glittering in my eyes as i picture her as the young, enigmatic she cat who had so nervously told me that she wanted to leave my Clan. Then i shake my head, clearing my memories and pad off.

Cloverstar growled something to herself. Then she remembered all the good times in Lilakstar's clan. She made a muffled mewling sound. Cloverstar knew that Lilakstar understood she was sorry. Cloverstar leapt to her feet and ran away.

Cloverstar narrowed her eyes. She padded back over to Lilakstar. Unsheathing her claws, Cloverstar yowled to get her attention. "To finish the argument.." she muttered, lifting a claw. She hoped Lilakstar would understand what she meant.

Cloverstar didn't wait for another response. She threw herself at Lilakstar, sinking her fangs into Lilakstar's shoulder. Cloverstar heard an ear-splitting yowl of pain and then she was flung away by Lilakstar. She spat the fresh blood from her mouth. Cloverstar circled the limping leader, hissing and spitting.

Btw, i'm not angry at you in any way, i'm just doing this because our cats are rivals in rp.

I shake my head and give a caterwaul!
The warriors hiding in the bushes leap out at the leader, and push her back. I spring forward, pinning her down, all compassion gone.

"You really think i would leave myself at a new border ungaurded?" i hissed, and i scored my claws across her face, tearing an ear. "Run, demon, run", i snarl, and leap off before she can throw me.

Cloverstar leapt to her feet. She sprung at Lilakstar's paws and gave her a clean blow round the chest. Lilakstar lost her footing and fell. Cloverstar pinned her down with a paw and snarled: "You're gonna eat those words!" She clawed a massive scar along the bridge of Lilakstar's muzzle. Cloverstar let her go and panted a little, waiting to be attacked again. She was prepared, her hackles raised.

I shke the smaller she-cat off and shake my muzzle, my blood splashes her.

"My dearest leader", i growl,"Go to the Dark Forest!" i stalk around her, my eyes narrow, my warriors blocking her from escaping to my or her territory. "You have mistreated the honour given on you", i warn, "and starClan knows it. They have warned me, Cloverstar, warned me of the destruction of a cat that walks a solitary path. A cat with blue eyes... And a vengeance."

I watch her reaction, and add, in a sad voice, "I don't want that cat to be you, Cloverstar."

Cloverstar took a moment to think about this. 'Wait... she's distracting me!' thought Cloverstar. She forgot about Lilakstar's words and continued snarling. She gave another warning growl and leapt. Lilakstar was swifter and clever then Cloverstar thought, however. Lilakstar dodged the attack. Cloverstar crashed right into some slippy rock. She slipped and tumbled down somewhere - at least she thought she did. Cloverstar managed to grip onto the rock. She hung. Looking down, she realised she was hanging right over a massive gorge.

"AHHHHHH!!" Cried Cloverstar. "Lilakstar! Help me!" Cloverstar suddenly felt very ill with worry. The way she had treated Lilakstar... would she help her? Cloverstar's paws were slipping and she was struggling to keep hold of the wet rock.

I stare down at the leader in shock, and rush over, seeing that she is on the edge of the waterfall in our territory.

"Cloverstar" i mew in a level voice, "You must heed my words, otherwise disaster shall strike."

Then i pull her up by her scruff and place her on the ground.

"leave our territory", i say

I know that Cloverstar now owes me a great debt: her life. But still i watch her

Cloverstar sat there, her paws numb with shock; panting. She looked up. "Thanks.. Lilakstar. I'm so sorry. I'll leave at once."
Cloverstar stood and ran away, back into her own territory.

Cloverstar's scent hung around the bushes on WildClan territory. She had certainly not gone back into WC territory.... but was she planning to?

I order my cats back to camp and follow Cloverstar, covering her scent with my own. (shall we change topic/category/forum now?) (we really need more members to rp with, the leaders usually just boss cats around lol.)

JayMist over hears such a ruckus and trots over to investigate. JayMist yowls "Whats going on?"

I twitch my ears.
"Just FlameClan", i say. "Back camp, Jaymist."
