Life in the Camp

I walked out of my den, and i see my camp and Clan around me. pride floods through me as i realize how stromg and loyal we are i smile to myself and sit down to wash.

Are you sure breaking the alliance was the right thing to do?
Lilakstar turned to her deputy, and nodded.
"We are strong now, Nightstreak, and FlameClan need to learn that they have to survive with out us. It is unatural to be allies when any day could end in war between us. No, each Clan must survive on it's own, that is the way of the code."
She looked at the black she-cat, doubt flickering in her mind.
"I know you have a strong bond with Cloverstar, and pity for FlameClan," she meowed, "But loyalty to your Clan must come first. You are deputy now, so live up to the privelidge i have given you. If we must face Skyclaw, then I shall do this with FlameClan, but breaking the alliance is best, in the long term."

Nightstreak nodded. Lilakstar was right. She need not worry about the other Clan, but her own. FlameClan should be able to look after themselves, not rely on other Clans. She strolled back out of the leader's den, and decided to hunt for a few small creatures.

Lilakstar gazed after her deputy, her dark amber gaze glittering with thought.
She is loyal at heart, the leader thought, i made the right decision when I made her deputy. I just hope she doesn't stray...

Nightstreak nibbled on what she had caught. She stared down to the border that seperated FlameClan's territory from WildClan's. She wondered how FlameClan was getting on. She remembered the horror she felt at seeing the destroyed camp. Eventually, she put her head down and drifted into a deep slumber.

Jaymist creeps away from her medicine cat den. She strays away from the deputy and leader. She knows something is not right with the deputy. Yet, she looks very familar.

Jaymist trots around in circles then sniffs for a tree. She runs and leaps into the tree.

Nightstreak soon woke up, and yawned and stretched. At first she thought the events of earlier were a realistic dream, but she remembered they were true. She was deputy of WildClan now, and they had broken the alliance with FlameClan. She sighed. She couldn't take it anymore. She waited until nobody was looking, then bounded off towards the border between FlameClan and her own Clan. She wasn't going to interfere with anything; She was just going to take a peek into their camp, to see how they were faring and if the camp was better now. She was confident she wouldn't be seen, as she was professional at being hidden, and had successfully remained hidden from other cats before. As long as she kept her distance so they did not smell her, she knew she would be fine.

AquaHeart padded to the nursery and sat just outside of it

She smiled at her friend,Lilakstar

Lilakstar padded back from the border, Nightstreak at her side. She saw Aquaheart smile at her across the clearing, and beckoned the young she-cat with her tail.

She padded to Lilakstar,Dragging her tail on the ground. She was still thinking about kits,though.Having kits with Ravenstorm..

"So, you're the newcomer?" Nightstreak asked. Before she got a response, she added "Well, welcome to the Clan." She bowed her head politely.

"Thanks,Nighty." She said,waving her tail


The wind blew,ruffling their fur

Ravenstorm bounded out of the warriors den, his black fur glossy in the sunlight, "Well hello" He called out the Nightstreak.

AquaHeart's knees went weak. There was the cute tom!

"Hello to you, too! And welcome to the Clan!" Nightstreak shouted cheerily, before she could respond to Aquaheart's nickname.

She blushed "I'll..Uh..Go hunt!" She said and darted outside

"Sure," she mumbled, puzzled at Aquaheart 's behaviour. She shook her head. "Yes, you cango on a patrol right now if you want," she said.

Mousestream (Im doing mouse whilst she us away, night, i know her, shes on hols) bounded over, pushing her muzzle against Ravenstorm's.
"Can I come?" she purred.

Lilakstar nodded to her deputy and warriors, and walked away to her den.

AquaHeart flexed her claws and hisssed . She was gonna ask Mousey to hunt with HER![i]

Aqua growled and dashed into the warrior den
