Running From WildClan!

Cloverstar flew through the long grass. She panted effortlessly, her strides slowing as she gasped for breath. Her limps were aching, and Cloverstar's paws were bleeding from running. Behind her, Cloverstar heard the growls of Nightstreak, and many other WildClan warriors. They sped through the trees, snapping at her heels. With a flash, Cloverstar turned direction and clawed through a hole in a pine tree. She dragged herself up through the hollow trunk and mewed under her breath. Below, she could hear Nightstreak and the other warriors yowling and trying to leap up after them. Cloverstar had especially sharp claws. She was the only cat in the forest that could climb slippery trees.

With a growl, Lilakstar bounded through her territory, all her senses alert and angry. When she came across the tree, and her warriors prowling around it, she snarled.
"Cloverstar!" The leader yowled in fury, "How can you dissobey the code like this. You are a leader: Show some dignity." With an effortless leap, she glided over her cats head and landed on the branches of the pine, her claws dug deep into the soft wood of the trunk.
"You really think you can outdo us in our own territory?" hissed the white she-cat, "You should leave, now!"
Anger pulsed through her head, but she kept her control. Lilakstar could not believe that the naive young cat from her Clan could be so impundant as this.

Nightstreak grunted, slightly jealous of how the both of the leaders could get up the tree but not her. She stood still and silently, spectating the two cats from below.

Cloverstar snarled. "I'm only running from you!". With that last word, she leapt across the trunk and disappeared into a black tunnel. She was inside a lunging hole in the tree. It led down to a pathway into a giant cave. Cloverstar smirked. She knew this place well, she came here all the time as an apprentice. Cloverstar's claws gripped onto the trunk surface as she boldly ventured into the cave. Her ears pricked and she crouched in the corner, murmuring something silly to herself and then beginning to move a whole pile of sticks and rocks, so she could escape.

Lilakstar flicked her tail to a warrior who was skinny and a good climber.
"Come with me," she mewed. Lilakstar and the warrior dissapeared in to the tunnel after Cloverstar. Inside she knew her way. It was her job as leader to know. Inside she spotted Cloverstar. In a solemn voice, Lilakstar meowed:
"Stop."
There was no threat in the voice, and no pleading. It was merely 'Stop'. there was no way to compare the way she had spoken those words.

Cloverstar looked like a lifeless, ghostly shadow in the cave. Her voice was cold and longing. "No. I won't stop.. the forest has been turned over by Skyclaw. Without your help, we will all die. You've ruined lives."

"Cloverstar," the leader meowed steadily, "I have broken the alliance for long term. I am not saying I won't help stop Skyclaw, I must just put my Clan first. We must survive with out each other. now, leave our land, and i shall see you at the next gathering."
With a nod to the wall, Lilakstar added,
"I would appreciate you leaving properly."

Cloverstar growled again. She stood, her blue eyes haunting in her shadow. "You have just threatened the lives of many innocent cats! Do you want the kits to die?! Really, would you stand by and let innocent kits die?! Lilakstar, I don't remember you like this. I really don't. When I was with you, you never acted like this. Thanks to your selfishness, three of my warriors have already died. Two newborn kits were murdered by the dogs Skyclaw brought. And now's she coming for you. I hope you feel ashamed of yourself." Cloverstar raced away and didn't return. She was gone.

Lashing her tail, Lilakstar nodded to her one warrior, to go after the leader in secret and see she left.
How is it my fault? she thought. i did nothing to make skyclaw do this, and i said if it came to it i would fight her. Cloverstar is not the cat i knew, either. how could she think that!
Shock was replaced by anger.
If Cloverstar thinks that, let her, the she-cat thought, I would never do such a thing. if this is anyones fault, It is hawkfrosts and skyclaws.
With a huge leap, Lilakstar left the cave.
